In our last blog we took you through the steps on how to tackle a kitchen redesign. In this instalment we are here to guide you through the vast array of kitchen manufactures available in the UK. From sleek and contemporary designs to timeless classics, we'll help you navigate the multitude of options to find your perfect partner.
Lower price point

IKEA (£4,500+)
Yes that is an IKEA kitchen. In the realm of kitchen design, few names are as well-known as IKEA, renowned for its sleek Scandinavian designs, practicality, and affordability. While these kitchens are not going to offer you the same quality as some of the other manufacturers featured in this post, their designs do offer a great option if you would like to customise your kitchen independently. We have previously developed projects where budgets were tight, and we worked with an IKEA base alongside stone countertops, bespoke cabinetry and hardware and the result could have passed for a kitchen of double the price.
Check out the FRÖJERED light bamboo kitchen. A great sustainable material and with the right accessories this could look much more expensive than it is.
Wren Kitchens (£5,500+)
Wren Kitchens are a step up in price from IKEA, but they are certainly doing something right as they are now the UK's largest kitchen retailer. They have positioned themselves as affordable luxury and exceptional value. Wren often does well with customer feedback and offers an extensive range of kitchen collections that utilise state-of-the-art technology and craftsmanship.
Wickes Kitchens (£6,000+)
Whether your style is modern and minimalist or classic and timeless, Wickes offers a wide range of kitchen designs to suit every taste and preference. Coming with a 20-year guarantee on all cabinets, an array of finishes, colours, and customisable options, Wickes is a really great brand if you have a tight budget.
TIP – It’s also worth looking around to see if any of the luxury brands you love have sister brands that are more affordable. For example, British Standard (the sister company of Plain English) is much more affordable and has the same design ethos as its luxury sibling.
Bonus TIP – if you love a certain luxury brand but can’t make your budget stretch, check out eBay. Sometimes you can pick up kitchens (or elements) from luxury brands for a fraction of the price.
Midrange

deVOL (£18,000+)
Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Leicestershire, deVOL has earned a reputation for its wonderful handmade kitchens that seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. With a focus on quality materials and attention to detail, deVOL's kitchens are known for their timeless elegance and understated luxury. They offer bespoke solutions tailored to each client's vision, ensuring a kitchen that not only functions, but also serves as a focal point of the home.
We love with their Haberdasher's Kitchen range.

Specialising in handcrafted kitchens made from sustainable materials, Neptune's bespoke designs exude quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. From bespoke cabinetry and artisanal finishes and bespoke furniture and accessories, Neptune offers a truly personalised approach to kitchen design. They also offer a lifetime warranty.
Pluck (£30,000+)
Pluck kitchens celebrate beautiful materials and practical design. Their distinctive kitchens have a modern aesthetic, refined palette and are designed and manufactured in London. They craft their cabinetry and furniture to order in a modern style that works in period and contemporary homes and in combination with antique and contemporary pieces. If you want an individual approach to your kitchen then Pluck should be on your radar, after all “no two Pluck kitchens are the same!”.
